PSWxEdu is a performance art education series to be presented in conjunction with the exhibition, DallasSITES: Available Space-  a month-long experimental showcase of contemporary art of NorthTexas at the Dallas Museum of Art.

PSWxEdu is a series designed to educate audiences on a variety of practices and topics in performance art today. Join artists and educators for four consecutive Thursday evenings beginning July 25, 2013.

WORKSHOP : “Sport + Persona in Performance Art”

Thursday, August 15, 2013; 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.

Join “Captain Kiser” (Joel Kiser) and “Iron Sides” (Luke Sides) for the first-ever Professional Thumb Wrestling Tournament of Champions with the Thumb In The Eye Wrestling Federation (TITEWF). Featuring raw, live in-ring actions with the larger-than-life TITEWF Superstars “Captain Kiser” and “Iron Sides”. This energy-filled hour will allow audience members to thumb wrestle their way to becoming the TITEWF’s newly crowned heavy weight thumb wrestling champion!!!
